Gladiator

The action film, directed by Ridley Scott and released in 2000, tells the story of Maximo Decimo Meridio, a general of the Roman army who, at the end of the war, longs to get home with his wife and children. However, he is betrayed by Commodus, the son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius.
