5 Celebrities That Got in Trouble With The Law for Drug Use

Several celebrities have been arrested for abusing drugs, which almost cost them their careers. Know their stories!

Although drugs have various stigmas around them, it is frequent that they also circulate among the most exclusive areas of Hollywood. Actors and singers have been the protagonists of some covers when being arrested for possession of illicit substances.

Celebrities who have been in trouble with the law for drugs

1) Rocco, Madonna's son

In 2016 Rocco, the son of Madonna and director Guy Ritchie, was arrested by London police for possession of marijuana.
Rocco, who was 16 years old at the time, was intercepted by officers for suspiciously coughing on public roads. On searching, the drug was found.
Supposedly it would have been his own neighbors who denounced the young man, since he has not fitted in well in the exclusive neighborhood where he moved after leaving his mother's house. The minor was sentenced to take a class on substance abuse.

2) Lauren Jauregui, concert in Brazil 


In December 2016, the band Fifth Harmony performed in São Paulo, Brazil, without one of its members, Lauren Jauregui. The star had been detained at Dulles airport in the city of Washington, United States, for possession of marijuana.
According to some versions, the singer had a small bag of drugs hidden in her hand luggage, so it did not pass the international security filter. Lauren only received one warning, but the delay caused her to miss her flight to Brazil.

3) Orlando Brown, Disney's Lost Star

The actor who played Eddie Thomas in It's So Raven pleaded not guilty in 2017 after being arrested for resisting arrest and possessing methamphetamine. The former Disney star was sentenced to three years of probation and a rehabilitation program.
In his youth, 32-year-old Orlando Brown was featured in Disney films such as Max's Revenge and voiced animated characters in The Proud Family. He had also recently participated in the tape Straight Outta Compton.

4) Craig Robinson, the comedian with trouble under the law 

Comedian Craig Robinson, from series such as The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, has been arrested several times for drug possession. In 2008 he was arrested for possession of ecstasy and methamphetamine in The Bahamas.
In 2013 he had to pay a $ 1,000 fine and leave The Bahamas for bringing illegal drugs into the country.

5) Charlie Heaton and the reason he wasn't at the Stranger Things premiere

In 2017, the day before the world premiere of the second season of Stranger Things, actor Charlie Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers, was detained at the airport after traces of drugs were found in his luggage.
The actor had to return to London after being intercepted by the US authorities. Heaton allegedly admitted to drug use before being deported.
