If you are one of the Potterheads who never received their letter from Hogwarts, now you can order yours: we tell you how to get it. You don't need to do magic or move to London.
One of the dreams of the generation that grew up with the Harry Potter films was to receive the invitation letter to Hogwarts on their 11th birthday.
While Harry Potter received hundreds of envelopes while living with his uncles, thousands of Potterheads were left without a letter from the Wizarding College.
There is an explanation for this, as Voldemort de-registered in the Ministry of Magic all Muggle-born wizards born between 1985 and 1998, so that is why some people never received his letter.
Outside of the fantasy world, there are merchandise of all kinds from the magical franchise: robes, wands, Harry's glasses, stuffed animals, and a myriad of toys; However, until now there was no official product that was a replica of the long-awaited Hogwarts letter.
LEGO is one of the toy brands with different sets alluding to the magical world, so for the twentieth anniversary of the premiere of the first movie, they launched a new commemorative package.
The release is called the Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collectors' Edition and consists of a compilation of key items from the wizarding world with 3,010 pieces.
The collection includes:
- The Golden Snitch.
- A chocolate frog.
- Tom Riddle's diary.
- Potion bottles.
- Buildable scarves.
- Harry Potter's glasses and wand.
Since the set is allusive to The Philosopher's Stone, it includes 3 exclusive golden figures of Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, and Rubeus Hagrid in the film's opening scene, when they leave Harry at the Dursleys'.
However, the highlight of the release is that Hedwig the owl is holding a letter of acceptance from Hogwarts that can be personalized with the collector's name.
The new Harry Potter LEGO set will be available from September 2, 2021, but can now be purchased online.
Hogwarts Icons Collectors' Edition is the toy that any Potterhead wants to have to complete the collection of magical objects with the letter from the College of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The main Harry Potter saga celebrates 20 years of premiere and 10 of having finished in 2021; However, the franchise continues to captivate fans who keep the magic alive.
In addition to the official product line, the world of Harry Potter is kept alive with the Fantastic Animals spin-off whose third installment will premiere sometime in 2022.
Meanwhile, the LEGO set with the Hogwarts letter could lighten the wait for the new movie and fulfill the Potterheads' childhood dream.
